A project digitising more than 100 videotapes produced by communities across the Western Isles will be showcased at the Hebrides International Film Festival.

In one case in the Western Isles in June this year, a purple risk patient had to wait 66 minutes, while another in Grampian in May had to wait more than 59 minutes.
NHS Boards with the highest number of cancelled appointment panels, it said, included NHS Western Isles, with six cancellations out of six (100 per cent), and NHS Highland, with 36 cancellations out of 57 (63 per cent).

The 10 tracks include scenes from Adrian’s childhood park in Cheshire, holidays to the magical Western Isles of Scotland and recollections of an unforgettable piano concert in Milan.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service’s North region covers areas including Moray, Aberdeenshire and Highland, as well as the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland.
We do have a system out to the west bringing spells of wet weather which are currently in Northern Ireland and are just about to creep into the Western Isles.
