In 1968 Argentine artist Nicolás García Uriburu dyed the waters of the canal green with a fluorescent dye called Fluorescein, during the annual Venice Biennale.
It presents the work that Douglas was commissioned to make for the Venice Biennale in 2022, and we are the second venue on the cross-country tour of this amazing new exhibition.
That conversation – which included the future Turner prize winner Britain’s representative at last year’s Venice Biennale – has, in the years since, never stopped.
