Four graduates from the University of Essex received recognition through their work and found their names on this year's honours list.
There will also be two fundraising events organised by Leigh Lions in Old Leigh, a day fundraiser in Thorpe Bay, several schools hosting yellow and gold non-uniform days and a stem cell donor ‘swab drive’ at the University of Essex.
