Former Deputy Mayor of the Hills Shire Council Alan Haselden did give evidence today, telling the inquiry how he was swept aside during the 2021 pre-selection in favour of other canditates including Virginia Ellis.

"Once there is an indication of the proposed boundary changes early next year, The Nationals will start the pre-selection process for a candidate that local members will decide," Mr Littleproud said.

The candidates will make their case to the local Aston Liberal Party members before a pre-selection contest tentatively set for Saturday 4 March.
