Google is looking to get ahead of high-severity vulnerabilities on its Chrome browser by shortening the time between security updates.

The organisation said that a comparison of alerts for the first six months of 2023, compared to the corresponding period last year, showed an over 60 percent reduction in high-severity incidents.
The scientists said high-severity wildfires are expected to continue as temperatures rise, putting people and ecosystems at greater risk.
