According to a report published by on Tuesday, police investigators in the nearby city of Peabody found materials including “a hacksaw, torn-up cloth material and what appears to be bloodstains” in a trash bin in the city.

Investigators found blood and a bloody knife in the basement of the Walshes’ home and police later recovered a hatchet, a hacksaw and trash bags with blood from a waste facility, WBZ-TV reported.
