LeBron James' jersey from Game 7 of the Miami Heat's triumphant 2013 NBA Finals has been bought in New York for $US3.68 million ($A5 million), making it the third most expensive game-worn jersey ever sold by Sotheby's.

Sotheby’s also auctioned Jordan’s jersey from the opening game of the 1998 Finals for $10.1 million in September 2022, which became the most expensive piece of game-worn sports memorabilia ever sold.
