Brentwood Council demanded the recycling centre policy to be scrapped in June after it heard flytipping incidents "were directly linked to it".
In 2021, people reported 25,123 incidents of flytipping compared to 21,251 in 2022.
The council also added that while no fines were issued for flytipping, 480 FPNs were issued for littering in the time period.
The van is currently used twice a week to target anti-social behaviour, crime, and flytipping hotspots, as well as during major events.
