In the wake of the upcoming bye-election for the Akoko North-East/Akoko North-West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, the Akoko Youths Forum has made a strong appeal to political parties.

It noted that the full weight of the Party, including the Minority Caucus in Parliament, would be put behind Mr Gyakye Quayson so as to ensure an even more resounding victory for him in the upcoming bye-election.

The bye-election, slated for 23rd of May, has become necessary following the demise of Member of Parliament, Philip Basoah, who died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on March 28.
