After weeks of AKP appeals, Turkey’s electoral board upheld a complaint regarding ballot counting and annulled the opposition victory.

Elected to parliament by the Erdogan-allied MHP a decade ago, Ogan left his party because he disagreed with its support for the executive presidency system in particular and its alliance with the AKP in general.

If the Green Left and its allies win around 12%, they may unite against the AKP and its allies on critical issues once the parliament is formed.
More importantly, both those who are critical towards and suspicious of the table of six and those who focus on the competition among the six suddenly faced the possibility of the AKP regime continuing.
