Past pupils and teachers of Wendron Primary School are invited back to help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the school building this month.

The plan was to include all Wendron fixtures on the day but the 4th & 5th team games had to be cancelled because of the weather, however, fortunately, the main pitch was playable.

Wendron Parish Council objected to the plans saying that whilst they supported the introduction of geothermal energy they did not believe that it was the right location.

Wendron responded when good interplay between Jack Stocker and Ryan Reeve set up Josh Wood for a run at the goal-keeper, but his shot was well saved.
