An Abuja High Court has ordered a Magistrate Court, also in Abuja to stay proceeding in a fresh suit filed by a Personal Assistant to Imo State Governor on Special Duties, Chinasa Nwaneri against opposition spokes person, Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere.

Dr Ani said Ugochinyere has over the years demonstrated questionable character, with a penchant for deception and blackmail, especially under the guise of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP).

The court, in a ruling delivered by Justice Adepoju, equally barred the Imo state government from humiliating or attacking the supporters of the Ugochinyere.

Ugochinyere in a statement on Saturday, while calling for the traditional ruler’s immediate release described the arrest by the state governor, Hope Uzodimma, as a show of hatred for Ideato people.
