A former Princeton High School baseball player was hospitalized in stable condition but receiving intensive care after being shot in the chest during a game in Texarkana.

In a Facebook post on Friday, the Texarkana Texas Police Department posted that it received a 911 call from employees at a Whataburger restaurant on New Boston Road just before noon on Tuesday.
