Elsewhere, a man died as Russian forces shelled the Ukrainian-held town of Nikopol from their stronghold at Ukraine's largest nuclear plant, according to Ukrainian local governor Serhii Lysak.
In a separate incident, Nikopol military district chief Yevhen Yevtushenko said that a 71-year-old man had been killed the previous day while fishing at a local reservoir.
On Saturday morning, the water level in the Nikopol area, which sits on the opposite side of the Dnipro River from the plant, had fallen more than three feet over the previous day, according to the state hydropower utility, Ukrhydroenergo.
