It was in aid of the usual three main beneficiaries - Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, in Oxenhope, Brooklands Community Special School in Skipton and national farming charity, the Addington Fund.
KIND- hearted members of the Silsden and Steeton Fundraising Group, which raises funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, are celebrating after a record-breaking year.
Overall, £2,386 was raised for Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands, which relies on donations and fundraising for most of its income.
SKIPTON Golf Club’s retiring Men’s Captain Roger Moore, current Ladies Captain Lorraine Raeburn and her predecessor Dagmar Hecker-Woodhead have handed over a cheque for £7,606.34 to Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope.
The Oakworth Manorlands fundraising group provided refreshments throughout the afternoon.
This year it is set to be another huge event for Silsden and hopefully it will raise a decent amount for Manorlands hospice and Silsden Methodist Church.
