Criminals are already using ChatGPT to commit crimes, Europol said in a Monday report that details how AI language models can fuel fraud, cybercrime, and terrorism.
Europol added that “These arrests follow those of 3 other members of the same criminal group on 30 March 2022 in Hesse.”
Europol said that five individuals were arrested in Ukraine including the 32-year-old leader of the group and four of its “most active accomplices.”
Rotterdam police have been involved in a cross-border campaign to break up what Europol describes as a “highly violent criminal cell from the Western Balkans” which was involved in the “large-scale trafficking of drugs and firearms across Europe”.
