Coach Matt Eberflus joked earlier this week that it was the “7,000 passes he’s thrown in his life” that gave Bagent a good sense of when to get rid of the ball.
Eberflus vaguely took responsibility for his team throwing away a game in which it led by 12 with four minutes left, but steered clear of anything specific.
Eberflus wouldn’t specify the range of snaps he expects Fields to play, but it’d be surprising if he got as much action as he did last year.

Now Eberflus has to show it’s more than merely a theory.
Poles and coach Matt Eberflus have been asked about every possible free-agent pass rusher, including Ngakoue, Jadeveon Clowney and Frank Clark, and the most they had said was they were taking a long look at them.
