A 61-year-old man has been arrested in connection with alleged road traffic offences after a Porsche was involved in a collision with two cars just south of Dirleton yesterday.

He added that work is currently underway at Caerlaverock Castle in Dumfries, Dirleton Castle in East Lothian as well as at Tantallon.

The crash took place at the junction of the B1345 Drem to Dirleton road and the A198 Gullane to North Berwick road.

"The French film star has provisionally booked a room in a Dirleton hotel and is believed to be arriving in the small village (which claims to be the prettiest in Scotland) tomorrow or Sunday", said the Glasgow Herald.

The signs have been installed on Tantallon Road and Dirleton Avenue, at the east and west entrances to the town.
