Currently two DFCs are being developed; Western DFC connecting Dadri in Uttar Pradesh to Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Mumbai, which will be 1,506 route kilometres (Rkms) and Eastern DFC connecting Ludhiana in Punjab to Dankuni in West Bengal, of 1,875 Rkms.
