A judge has ordered the police commissioner to investigate whether author Mark Camilleri is liable to criminal action for publishing thousands of messages between Labour MP Rosianne Cutajar and Yorgen Fenech.
At the time, Cutajar was a parliamentary secretary.
Camilleri was behind one of the most memed scandals of the year after he published thousands of between independent MP Rosianne Cutajar and businessman Yorgen Fenech.
Cutajar also said she was not considering resigning as an MP.
Fenech said Borg later informed him that after “consulting with the Ministry”, Cutajar was “deemed the idoneous candidate” and that the agreement was to hire the MP in a position of trust.
Opposition MPs complained that they had seen Farrugia in the parliament building shortly before the plenary debate began, and Opposition whip Robert Cutajar asked the speaker to rule on the matter.
“Rosianne Cutajar already paid the highest political price for those same chats when she resigned as parliamentary secretary two years ago,” he said.
