Spooky stat: 34% of California home purchases in the second quarter were made by investors – the highest share in the nation, according to CoreLogic.
The data comes from Irvine-based CoreLogic, which previously was DQNews and before that DataQuick.
The median property price in December in Sydney was $1.01 million and $691,509 in regional NSW, according to property data firm CoreLogic.
The region’s median home price was $850,000 in November, said CoreLogic data released Friday.
The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller National Home Price Index showed home prices rose 0.2% in February - the first monthly price increase in the past seven months, as the tight inventory of homes has apparently helped to firm up home prices.
"This is a trend we can expect to see playing out at least until interest rates top out," CoreLogic head of research Eliza Owen said.
