CCC leader Nelson Chamisa warned that Mnangagwa “is just about to plunge Zimbabwe into an unprecedented electoral and national crisis.”
Chamisa has not indicated yet whether he is filing any challenge but it is widely believed that he will not take that root as it will effectively kill his case because any decision by the Constitutional Court would be final and legally binding.
Chamisa said he was readily available and for the interview and directed the radio station to contact his media team.

He is a step in the right direction and miles ahead of Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zanupf and Nelson Chamisa of CCC.

It would be a whitewash 85% victory for Chamisa.”

Mnangagwa, 80, won the election with 52.6% of the vote while the opposition Citizens' Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa got 44%, the election commission said on Saturday.

Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa decried the Zimbabwe election as a case of "blatant" fraud, disputing the reported victory of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Party leader Nelson Chamisa is also among officials across the country whose suitability for party candidacy will be subjected to an unprecedented community selection process starting today, Wednesday 5 April.
“They stole your voice and vote but never your hope,” Chamisa wrote in a post on Twitter, now rebranded as X, in his first public reaction to the results.
