In a video address to more than 1,500 attendees at the American Jewish Committee (AJC) Global Forum in Tel Aviv, on Monday, Bourita also said the Kingdom of Morocco took deep pride in its Jewish heritage and was committed to Arab-Israeli peace.

Mr Bourita said it was important for Africa to enhance the value of its cultural identity, and indicated that “the flame of memories of the struggle should not be allowed to die”.
