Finnish gas system operator Gasgrid a leak early Sunday morning after the 77-kilometer-long Balticconnector pipeline that links the countries under the Gulf of Finland saw an “unusual” drop in pressure.

Prior to the war in Ukraine, some of the gas transported by the Balticconnector came via pipeline from neighboring Russia, but Finland has since year stopped importing Russian pipeline gas.
